Description
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the dccp_write_xmit() function in the net/dccp/output.c source code file due to improper handling of certain system calls. A local attacker can execute specially crafted system calls, trigger NULL pointer dereference and cause the service to crash.

Mitigation
Update to version 4.16-rc7.
