Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists in TYPO3 CMS. TYPO3 ships example code from mso/idna-convert library in the vendor folder, which is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

Mitigation
Install the latest versions (7.6.10, 8.2.1).
