Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security controls on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper application of message filtering rules to email attachments. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause an ESA to fail to detect and act upon a specific type of file that is attached to an email message by sending an email message with a crafted attachment to an affected appliance.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in a host/resource access via network.
