Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in a SVG file with a node with the element name starting with "fe," which is misidentified as a RsvgFilterPrimitive. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted SVG file to the affected application, trigger a NULL pointer dereference error crash the application or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
