Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the way LibVNCServer handles certain ClientCutText messages. A remote attacker could use this flaw to crash the VNC server by sending a specially crafted ClientCutText message from a VNC client.
