Vendor: Foxit Software Inc.
Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to array overflow as the illegal value in the /Size entry causes an
error in initializing the array size for storing the compression object
streams, and an object number which is larger than the initialization
value is used as the array index while parsing the cross-reference
streams. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted PDF file, trick the victim into opening it and crash the application.
Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
