Description

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error when processing HTTP requests in Web Bridge interface within Cisco Meeting Server (CMS). A remote authenticated attacker with valid session with the Web Bridge can send a specially crafted HTTP request, cause out-of-bounds memory read and obtain potentially sensitive data or cause denial of service.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation
Update to version 2.1.2 or later.
