Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of Cisco Discovery Protocol messages that are processed by the Cisco Discovery Protocol service. A remote attacker on the local network can send specially crafted CDP messages to the system and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
