Description
The vulnerability allows a remote user to access potentially sensitive information on the target system.
The weakness exists due to ineffectiveness of certificate pinning for add-on updates. Such inefficiency allows a remote user with mis-issued certificate for a Mozilla web site to send malicious add-on updates to the network users.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in private information disclosure.
