Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists when .NET Framework and .NET Core improperly process RegEx strings. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
