Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect default permissions set for "/var/lib/dpkg/info". A local user with UID=1001 can escalate privileges on the system.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
