Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in telnetd daemon. A remote attacker can trigger NULL pointer dereference via 0xff 0xf7 or 0xff 0xf8 and crash telnetd.
Mitigation
Install update from vendor's website.
