Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the ilter_vertically_8() function in libavfilter/vf_avgblur.c in FFmpeg. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and crash the application.
