Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the pcap_findalldevs_ex() function in pcap.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
