Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to invalid pointer in the modbus_receive() function. A remote authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted message to the unit-test-server and cause a denial of service condition in the target system.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
